The MP for Tarkwa is challenging claims that a Municipal Hospital recently inspected by the president as part of a regional tour, was promised and delivered by the current administration.
Eugenia Gifty Kusi who said she is on a mission to set the records straight, maintained it was the Kufuor administration that acquired the land and funding and whatever else needed, for the project.
In an interview with Joy News’, Sammy Darko the MP said the NDC government must stop its attempts to deceive the public.
She described as a deception, comments by the president which created the impression that the NDC in putting up the hospital, has fulfilled its promises to the people.
“You fulfill a promise that you made but he didn’t promise anything because the things were there already,” she noted.
She said there would not have been a problem if the president had given credit to the previous administration, whilst touting his commitment for continuity in governance.
But to create the impression that the hospital was a brain child of the NDC is something the NPP will not accept.
