The annual Taywood Bowl Golf Championship tees off at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, October 13.
Mr Kwesi Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club, who announced this in Accra on Monday, said the one-day competition which is opened to members of Achimota, Tema, Bok Nam Kim as well as Celebrity Golf Club, is being sponsored by Taysec Constructions.
He said the event, which has Handicaps 18 and 24 as the entry requirements, forms part of activities marking the 60th anniversary celebration of Taysec.
Mr. Oteng-Aboagye named some of the golfers who would be taking part in the competition as Paul Nukunu, Nick Smallman, Peter Abrokwa, and Michael Aggrey.
The Ladies section would also witness players as Betty Allotey, Mary Anderson and Margaret Hanson.
He announced that six prizes would be awarded in the Men's division while three would go to the Ladies.
Mr. Andrew Holmes, Managing Director of the company, is the special guest of honour.
