People being employed under the National Youth Employment Programme as teachers in basic schools have been advised to dress properly and be decent in speech and behaviour to serve as good examples to their pupils.
Komla Abotsi, Kadjebi District Director of Education, gave the advice at a ceremony at Kadjebi to formally give appointment letters and letters of introduction to 195 people who have been recruited to work in the Kadjebi District.
He said the monitoring team would not tolerate laziness and drunkenness.
The number brings the total number of people recruited as community education assistants in the Kadjebi District to 335.
