Ghana’s gospel sensation group, Team Eternity, brought the roof down at the Bethany Methodist Church hall in Dzorwulu, Accra, on Saturday, 20th July with a thrilling performance at this year’s Xplo event organised by the church's youth.
The night of music was opened by the host choir, Bethany Choir, who set the mood with uplifting chorales.
The Emeralds of Praise and Minister Kweku Teye respectively led patrons in worship with their soothing and melodious spirit-filled songs.
The Voice of Praise excited the audience with renditions of old-school gospel songs.
The atmosphere became electrifying when Team Eternity took the stage. The highly sought-after group thrilled the audience with exciting songs including "Yes Sir", before concluding the night on a high note with their hit song "Defe Defe."
In her welcome address, Nana Ama Aseidua Okyere, Chairperson of the organising committee, stressed that Xplo was not just an occasion to sing and celebrate God's love and grace but also a fundraiser.
Proceeds from the event will support the church’s prison evangelism efforts, aimed at bringing hope, redemption, and the message of Christ’s love to those in need.
Xplo is an annual event organised by the youth of the Bethany Methodist Church. The theme for this year’s event was "Growing in Christian Maturity."
