A non-governmental organisation, Technology Without Borders through its School Water project, has provided a water storage tank for the Okyeso Catholic School in the Central regional capital, Cape Coast.

Headmaster of the school, Justin Ekor, in accepting the kind gesture expressed immerse gratitude to Technology Without Borders (TeoG) for the timely support, stating that students resorted to drinking liquids from dirty cans whenever water was not available in the school.
“That notwithstanding, we still have some challenges that need to be overcome,” he added.
He indicated that it has been the top most priority of the school to solve the some of the basic challenges it was faced with.
In view of that, several attempts have been made to get sponsorship from corporate bodies that will help in overcoming those challenges.

Project leader of the school water project of TeoG, Albert Elikplim Agbenorhevi, stated that the aim of the organization is to impact in social issues that will contribute to the development of communities.
Mr. Elikplim further stated, "we know that sickness could either be water related, water borne or water scarce. These are children and they have no choice, they cannot fight for water and they have no water. Our aim is to impact on future generations and that is why we are doing this project"
Some pupils of the school also expressed their joy for the school water project that brought them water and their gratitude to TeoG.
