The Little Cow Consulting Ltd (TLC) has climaxed the ‘Go for Soya Chunks’ campaign in the country with a donation to the Senior Correctional Centre this Christmas.
The items included; soya chunks, toiletries, food items, water, etc.
The campaign was launched in July 2021, on behalf of ASA/WISHH and in collaboration with Yedent Agro Group of Companies and the Ghana School Feeding Programme, to increase awareness and promote the nutritional benefits of soya chunks among Ghanaians.
Presenting the items to officials of the Correctional Centre, Chief Executive of The Little Cow Consulting Limited, Abdul-Nasser Alidu, said the initiative formed part of his outfit’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

He also noted that with the donation being the second time with the prison service, he hoped it would be an annual exercise.
“Today, we are here to give our quota to the correctional facility and hope that as the New Year beacons, God will bless us all, and we will be able to help sustain the work that you are doing here,” he noted.
Receiving the items on behalf of the correctional facility, the Head of Education and Duty Officer DSP Patrick Sarfo expressed gratitude to TLC for extending its charity to the inmates.
“It is not easy feeding them, especially at this stage of their lives. So when institutions like yours come to our aid, we are always grateful.
“We do our best to reform the boys, government is doing its best, but we can’t do it all by ourselves, so we will always count on your support to make sure we churn out boys that will be more rehabilitated for our society,” he said.
Project Lead, Ndidi Fordjoe, on her part, said, “We believe that this festive season is an opportunity to extend love to individuals in the facility and also give them tasty and healthy variety in their meal options. Soya chunks are a versatile protein option rich in fibre, protein, iron and have no cholesterol.”
