The Mirror Ball, Ghana’s iconic and premium entertainment platform returns to the Golden Tulip Hotel this Friday July 26. After taking a month's break to plan the homecoming event, organisers, Tag Team Ltd are ready to outdoor the new season of Accra’s favourite upscale party which is hosted every last Friday of the month. In a short ceremony Thursday to unveil the giant 'mirror ball' suspended high above infront of the Golden Tulip, Sales& Marketing Manager of the Hotel Mrs. Bertha De Graft-Johnson remarked: “We are very pleased to welcome back the Mirror Ball which started right here in our Branch lounge in September 2011 and our patrons can expect the highest of standards from us, as we host this premium event each last Friday of the month.” The entire event has been built around the nostalgic experience of the “old school” era of music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The event is held at a premium hotel to ensure that the support services compliment the refined taste of the discerning patrons. According to Edwin Baffour of Tag Team, the event has grown over the two year period and has continued to engage a significant niche target audience among the middle to upper income earners of the metropolis and beyond. “We are delighted to be back at the Golden Tulip and we welcome innovative and visionary brands to support this unique platform which has been specially created with the premium customer in mind.” The theme for Friday’s event is Homecoming and the dress code accordingly is “All white”. Each guest who arrives before midnight will receive a free mixed CD of old school classics compiled by William Nanka Bruce, popularly known as DJ Blow, Ghana’s “one stop shop for old school music”. “At Tag Team, we are proud to continue producing the finest monthly event in Ghana and the tradition continues at the Golden Tulip this Friday for those who seek a premium experience,” Edwin Baffour added. The Mirror Ball has earned its distinguished place among events in Ghana, due to the attention to detail that the organisers pay as a priority to ensure that the experience of each guest is comparable to their best anywhere in the world. Advance tickets can be bought at the front desk of the Golden Tulip in Accra.
