President John Mahama has reiterated his commitment for peace in the December elections.
Speaking to journalists in Kumasi a day after signing the Kumasi Peace Accord, the president charged the media to be ethical and professional in their duties.
He said that during election season, the media must be increasingly circumspect in their reportage in order to maintain unity and stability in the country.
Luv FM’s Saeed Ali Yakub, who was present at the meeting, reported the president as pledging to create more jobs if retained in office.
He said that a 10 million cedi fund has been created to encourage the youth to go into production and be self employed and that a 100 million cedi fund has been established as an incubator project with the AGI to train more entrepreneurs in the country.
