Identical twins Sarah Mariuz and Leah Rodgers really took the saying "twins do everything together" up a notch when the two 35-year-olds both gave birth on June 30. The even more bizarre part?
They gave birth at the exact same time, in their respective time zones. Rodgers, who is the eldest by 11 minutes, naturally went first, giving birth at 1:18 a.m. in Denver, Colorado, and Mariuz followed behind at 1:18 a.m. in La Jolla, California.
The only difference is that Rodgers gave birth to a baby boy named Reid Joseph, while Mariuz welcomed a baby girl named Samantha Lynne.

The twins, who have always shared a special connection, said they were excited by the crazy coincidence but not surprised.
"We've always lived in separate places, but all of us — we have two sisters — are very close in age and very close," Rodgers told Today.com. "But certainly there's another connection at the twin level.
"The connection is so strong that when they celebrated Thanksgiving last year, Rodgers immediately knew they were both pregnant.
"She showed up to my front door and I welcomed her and Nick [Mariuz's husband] inside," Rodgers said. "And I had this crazy twin intuition — I call it my 'twintuition' — and I knew she was pregnant too."
Mariuz let Rodgers break the news that she was pregnant first, as she didn't want to steal her thunder. But when she realized their due dates were only four days apart, she couldn't contain her excitement anymore and took her ultrasound pic out of her purse and slapped it down on the dinner table.
"We were jumping up and down, just so happy for each other. Everyone was just in shock,"Mariuz said.
Both the moms and the babies are reportedly doing well.
