Three IT experts who were Thursday 19/08/11, detailed to the Yendi Prisons Post to install ICT facilities there are feared dead after the vehicle in which they were traveling, veered off the road and plunged into the Kpatsa River.
The three, whose identities are not yet known, were driving in a Toyota 4x4 vehicle which veered off the road at a village called Timili on the Yendi-Salaga High way.
Reports say only the body of the driver, whose name has also not been given, has been retrieved by officers from the Ghana National Fire Service Officers who rushed to the scene but the rest are yet to be recovered.
An eyewitness told Asempa News that the IT experts had gone to the Yendi Prisons with some Prison officers to take measurements and inspect the place where the ICT centre was to be sited.
