Ace Musician Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah known in showbiz circles as Tic Tac has been named by the organizers of the annual High School Honors to host this year’s event.
Arguably one of the country’s most accomplished hiplife acts, he will be hosting the biggest youth event in Ghana come Wednesday, June 27 at the National Theatre.
This will not be Tic Tac’s first, after hosting an outdoor event in Dansoman last year.
He told Myjoyonline.com in an interview that the High School Honors is, “not too different,” from the first, adding, “I guess it’s the same feeling just that you got to mind your language when dealing with such events.”
The Philomena crooner will be bringing to bear a relatively unknown side of him. He assured his fans to expect a “good show and something fresh because I will be performing [my]new single Kofi Adeka" on the night.
The annual event recognizes the exploits of past students of the country’s Senior High Schools in diverse fields.
Some of the categories for the awards includes Sports Person of the Year, Sports School of the Year, Best Male Dancer, Best Female Dancer, Best Male Vocalist and Best Female Vocalist.
