Tidal Rave Festival 2025 has been announced as a two-day celebration on 14th and 15th November at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, promising ravers a reinvented beach festival experience.
The festival opens with an invite-only pre-party powered by Johnnie Walker on Friday, followed by a full day of music, culture, fashion, food and surprises on Saturday. A road carnival will lead revellers to the main venue, turning the journey itself into part of the celebration.
Event Director Awo Ampadu Somuah said this year’s edition will feature the Culture Currents, a group of creatives including Lisa Quama, Ato Sekyi, Rev Erskine, Samuella Graham, Ellen Osabutey, Makafui Awuku, Kojo Junior and Joewackle.
“Over the years, Tidal Rave has been known for delivering the ultimate rave experience. But this year, for the first time ever, the spotlight shifts to the Culture Currents, a carefully selected team of top industry specialists,” she said.
The Culture Currents will help shape the festival, bringing diverse perspectives on fashion, food, culture, dance, storytelling and sustainability. Organisers say their input will ensure ravers experience not just music but a celebration of energy, creativity and community.
Brand partners are also elevating their offerings. Absa Bank is introducing Red Alert tickets with discounts and unique packages. “Tidal Rave Festival is a vibrant expression of youth culture and ambition, and we are proud to give Ravers the opportunity to enjoy this experience on their own terms,” said Charles Addo, Director of Retail Banking at Absa Bank.
Johnnie Walker will return with Afro Exchange, an immersive experience designed to connect cultures and communities, following last year’s successful Flavour Code Experience.
“It wasn’t just about whisky; it was about living bold, premium moments that perfectly matched the energy of the festival,” said Nana Yaa Amoah-Owusu, Marketing Manager, Spirits and RTDs at Guinness Ghana.
In addition, Tidal Rave Festival has signed a two-year partnership with the Black Star Experience, an initiative to promote Ghanaian tourism and the creative arts. Rex Owusu Marfo, Presidential Staffer and Coordinator of BSE, said, “This collaboration is justified because it is a direct investment in our future. It is an answer to the question: How do we ensure our culture not only survives but thrives for generations to come?”
EchoHouse CEO Beryl Agyekum Ayaaba added that the partnership will project Ghana’s creative arts to the world. “Tidal Rave Festival has always been more than just an event; it is a platform to empower and showcase the incredible talent within Ghana’s creative arts,” she said.
The collaboration will explore the possibility of expanding Tidal Rave Festival to other African countries, with the first new destination expected to be announced later this year.
With Absa Bank, Johnnie Walker, Red Bull, MobileMoney Limited and Black Star Experience as partners, organisers say the 2025 edition will redefine raving in Ghana and beyond.
