Tigo has lost out to Vodafone as the second biggest mobile operator in the country, according to the subscription trends from the National Communication Authority for November last year.This puts Vodafone in second position with over 4, 179, 000 subscribers, whilst Tigo now has 4,030,000 subscribers.The trend also shows that Vodafone started overtaking Tigo from October last year.Airtel is fourth with 2.5 million followed by Espresso with 191,000 subscribers.Meanwhile, MTN maintains the number one position with a little over 10 million subscribers.The new data from the NCA puts mobile phone subscriptions at a little over 21 million in the country.
