Isaac Dogboe's assistant trainer, Patrice Harris, says is time to put all the months of sweat and toil in camp into action in the ring.
Harris who spoke to Joy Sports immediately after the final news conference at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino says he is confident of the boxers ability.
"All the hard work is over and done. The time has come for all of it to show in the ring," he said.
Patrice Harris led an advance party of Dogboe's team to Oklahoma three days ago and has expressed his eagerness to see his boxer win the vacant WBO featherweight title.
"The time has come for Isaac to strap on that belt and bring it home to Ghana. The moment has come. "
Patrick Harris, a retired boxer, has been part of Dogboe's team since the former champion changed teams post the losses to Emmanuel Navarette.
Harris has partnered well with the head trainer Barry Hunter to secure Dogboe some very important wins against Chris Avalos, Christopher Diaz, Adam Lopez and Joet Gonzalez.
According to Patrice Harris, the team at the Headbangers Gym watched Dogboe's world title winning performance against Jessie Magdaleno in 2018 and liked his ring craft.
"His father (Paul Dogboe) did a great job with his skill. We have to give that credit to him. We cannot take credit for what we haven't done," he said.
Harris, who also featured in the world acclaimed boxing movie Creed III, says he was also impressed with Dogboe's work ethic.
"His work rate during the training camp in Washington DC was very admirable. I am glad about his input and know it will be brought to bear on April 1."
