A member of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Directorat Titus Glover has said the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) can burn the sea if they see something wrong with Nana Akufo-Addo’s “all-die-be-die” comment. His comments come in wake of calls from the NDC on Nana Akufo-Addo to render an unqualified apology over his alleged call urging members and followers of the party to stand up to any acts of intimidation even it meant laying down their lives.Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Friday, Titus Glover noted that Nana Akufo-Addo has not called for war but rather advocated for self defense. He added that the NPP as a party has a duty to protect its members and supporters and the ballot box in the 2012 elections because the party’s supporters have always been attacked at various election venues, sometimes at the full glare of security personnel who refuse to intervene or offer protection to them.Titus Glover also questioned why the NDC was worried about Nana Akufo-Addo’s comments after they failed to criticise party members like Baba Jamal who declared Jihad during the run up towards the Akwatia Parliamentary elections, party Chairman and General Secretary for making similar comments.Meanwhile, Dr. Hannah Bisiw a panelist of the programme said Nana Addo’s comments are irresponsible, typical of his violent nature. She explained that his comment has the tendency of inciting the youth in the country to be violent.Adwoa Gyasiwaa/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
