It's truly distressing how societal pressures and the pursuit of wealth can lead some individuals to extreme and unethical actions.
The renowned educator and international artist, Professor Ablade Glover in an interview with Lexis Bill on Personality Profile, shared his sentiments about the lifestyle of today's youth and this generation.
He advised the young people to exercise caution in what they do and to avoid rushing.
He also added that there is a need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and enjoy the present moment.
"Many people, especially the youth, have lofty aspirations, striving for goals beyond their immediate reach. It's easy to understand this drive, given the abundance of wealth flaunted in our surroundings," he said.
However, this yearning often leads individuals to attempt the impossible in pursuit of quick riches.
There's so much wealth being thrown around young people whiles they are in need and they think the best way is to do something impossible to get money.

"I recall reading a newspaper article recently, in which two teenagers confessed to burying a child alive, driven by their pursuit of wealth through mystical means.
“This horrific incident reflects the extreme lengths some individuals are willing to go to in their quest for money. The exposure to excessive displays of wealth in society fuels this mindset. We inadvertently contribute to this phenomenon by showcasing opulence, inadvertently creating a desire that goes beyond practical means."
Professor Glover offered a general life advice to young individuals who admire figures like himself, emphasizing the importance of honest work and maintaining focus.
“Focus is key, and it's important to avoid distractions that hinder progress. People must work honestly and focus," he added.
