President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe of Togo is in Accra to take part in a High Level Coordination Meeting of ECOWAS and its partners on the Ebola Virus Disease.
The January 16 will be taking stock of the various partner and stakeholder initiatives within the context of an integrated regional response to the Ebola epidemic.
Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur met President Gnassigbe who is the ECOWAS Contact Person on Ebola on his arrival at the Golden Jubilee Lounge. He inspected a Guard of Honour mounted in his honour and also interacted with the Togolese community in Accra.

The Ebola meeting will among others discuss the effective coordination of the Ebola Response Initiatives and provide a platform for the sharing of information on the situation in affected member states.
Chair of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, President John Dramani Mahama, will open the meeting at the Accra International Conference Centre.
