Triple Jumper Nadia Eke is out of the Tokyo Olympics after three successive No jumps in the women’s triple jump event.

The 28 year old Ghanaian who was making her debut at the games had earlier announced the games would mark the end of her fifteen year career.

She becomes the 5th Ghanaian athlete to be eliminated at the preliminary stage of the games after boxer Shakul Samed, and swimmers Abeiku Jackson and Unilez Takyi, as well as judoka Kwadjo Anani.

Nadia has won medals at the national and continental levels but would be disappointed at her inability to grab an Olympic meda.
