Several high profile Ghanaian players did not live up to the billing over the weekend. As a result, Mohammed Salisu is the only player from last week to make this week’s list.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom – Red Star Belgrade

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was on target for Red Star Belgrade in their 2-0 win over Proleter in the Serbian Super League over the weekend.

The striker came off the bench to score in the 82nd minute of the game to complete the victory for his side in a difficult away game.

Yiadom has scored five goals in his 14 appearances in all competition this season.

Mohammed Salisu – Real Valladolid

The fast-rising centre-back made his 14th appearance for Real Valladolid this season as they faced Real Mallorca.

Salisu, 20, completed 31 accurate passes out of an attempted 35 whilst also making one tackle.

His impressive display over the weekend helped Valladolid secure their fourth clean sheet in La Liga this season.

Osman Bukari – Trencin

Osman Bukari continued his hot streak of form as he scored in his third consecutive match for Trencin over the weekend.

The explosive winger scored the second goal of the game against MSK Zilina in a shock 3-0 win to Trencin.

The 20-year-old has four goals in the Slovakian Super Liga this season.

Kasim Nuhu - Fortuna Düsseldorf

A composed performance from Kasim Nuhu gave Fortuna Düsseldorf a crucial 2-0 win against relegation rivals FC Koln.

Nuhu had 39 touches of the ball, with a passing success rate of 76% whilst completing two tackles.

The former Mallorca defender has featured in seven matches for Fortuna Düsseldorf, scoring two goals.

Kwesi Appiah – AFC Wimbledon

A late goal by Kwesi Appiah was not enough as AFC Wimbledon were held to a 1-1 draw by Lincoln City over the weekend.

Wimbledon found themselves a goal down in the first half through a Jack Payne goal. Appiah responded in the 92nd minute after connecting to a Luke O’Neill cross to glance the ball past Vickers.

The 29-year-old has scored three goals in 12 matches this season for a struggling Wimbledon side.
