The Tema Oil Refinery on Friday started distributing 1,500 metric tones of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to the Oil Marketing Companies.
Mrs Abba Lokko, Public Affairs Manager of TOR, told the GNA that TOR took delivery of the product on Thursday from Fuel Trade, a Ghanaian-based bulk distribution company.
She said the Refinery was liaising with the Association of Oil
Marketing Companies to ensure fair distribution of the product to all
parts of the country.
Mrs Lokko said the refinery had extended its working hours to
2100 hours from the usual closing time of 1800 hours and would operate
on Saturday.
