Traders in the country's markets want the new government to reconstruct their markets most of which are in poor condition.
For most of them, the move will be a fare way of securing their fair share of the national cake.
Traders in Ho on Tuesday called on the in-coming National Democratic Congress (NDC) Government to re-construct the Ho Central market to a standard befitting a modern city.
Madam Theresa Dagbe Mansa, Volta Regional Market Queen, made the request at a meeting of traders from the town to discuss how to develop the facility and improve upon their trading activities.
She said the Central Market needed water, toilet, kindergarten, a warehouse, bank and a police station.
Madam Dagbe expressed worry that even though the Ho Municipal Assembly had a chunk of its revenue from the market it did not develop the facility.
She said stalls built by the assembly were too small and costly.
Madam Dagbe said the traders expected the incoming government to fulfil its election promise of reducing the price of fuel to reduce the prices of goods and services.
