The Aflao Traditional Council on Tuesday sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Fiifi Kwettey on his nomination as Deputy Minister-designate for Finance and Economic Planning.
The message signed by Torgbui Amenya Fiti V, Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area, said: “Your nomination has come at period of the nation’s history, when the avalanche of the social-economic problems confronting the ordinary Ghanaian calls for a redeemer to help improve the standard of living of the citizenry; it is therefore not by chance but a divine intervention to rescue this country from its falling economy.”
It said the Council was of the firm conviction and belief that: “Your rich experience under the founder of the party, Former President J.J. Rawlings, your vast knowledge in Economics and your good control over the French language has groomed you long for this position and surely you would pass through the vetting successfully.”
