The deployment of African-led International Support Mission to Mali (AFISMA) Ghana Engineering Company (GHANENGCOY 1) is scheduled for February 11 to February 15, 2013 from Accra.
This was contained in a statement signed by Lieutenant-Colonel E. Aggrey-Quashie of the Public Relations Directorate of the Ghana Armed Forces, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Saturday.
It stated that the advance party would leave for Mali from the Kotoka International Airport after a farewell parade at the 48 Engineer Regiment at 1300 hours on Monday, February 11.
The statement added that the deployment would be conducted by the Royal Aircraft C17, and that the loading of equipment would be at the Air Force Base in Accra on Sunday, February 10, 2013.
