Tunisia and Senegal this evening settled for a pulsating 2:2 game in their first Group D game of the MTN Africa Cup of Nations at Tamale.
The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia opened the scores in the 9th minute through I. Jemaa before M.B. Sall levelled up for the Teranga Lions of Senegal on the stroke of half time.
Senegal added to their goal in the 66th minute through D. Kamara after the Lions squandered several chances, but Tunisia had the last laugh when M. Traoui fired in the equaliser from 30 yards in the 83rd minute.
The Second group game is between southern African neighbours, Angola and South Africa to be played at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
