The Tuobodom Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region was Sunday morning gutted by fire.
The raging fire consumed parts of the administration block and the school’s library.
But for the quick intervention of the fire service, the fire would have extended to other departments.

Joy News' regional correspondent Anas Sabit who was at the scene reports that almost everything in the assistant headmaster’s office was completely burnt.
Aside school’s documents that were burnt to ashes, items including refrigerator, furniture, computers and unspecified amount were lost to the fire.
According to Anas, the fire also destroyed virtually every book in the library.

The fire has however been put out by personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service.
Academic work tomorrow would be greatly affected by the incident, a teacher of the school told Anas.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
