A two-headed baby is under police guard after a 150,000-strong mob arrived to gawk at the tot in hospital. The boy – born in Bangladesh – has been moved to a second hospital after the huge crowd gathered for a glimpse. It was feared some people might force their way into the hospital and crush the mother and child.Previously, babies born with physical abnormalities in Bangladesh and India have been hailed as living gods.Last night the baby, named Kiron, was under police guard as medics tried to decide if he had any future.Kiron was born in a caesarean operation on Monday, weighing 5.5kg, in Keshobpur, 100 miles from the capital, Dhaka.Gynaecologist Mohamad Abdul Bari said: "He has one stomach and he is eating normally with his two mouths."He has one genital organ and a full set of limbs."Dr Bari said the baby developed from one embryo 'but there was a developmental anomaly'.He said the clinic was unable to say if the baby had one or two sets of vital organs."Even before we moved the baby and his mother from the clinic the crowd had grown to 150,000 and it is now just as big at the hospital," he said."People are desperate to have a look at this baby."We had to call the police to control the situation at the clinic and now the police are on 24-hour guard at the hospital."Bangladeshi newspaper Samakal said well-wishers had left money for the baby's family.Source: The Sun UK
