The Volta Regional branch of the United Cadres Front (UCF) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated Professor John Evans Atta Mills on his election as President of Ghana.
“Your elevation to the highest office of the land which can be described as timely, shall greatly help rescue the nation which has been polarized,” a congratulatory message signed by Warrant Officer Roy Kotoka (rtd), acting Regional Chairman and Samuel Adablah, acting Regional Secretary respectively said.
“We are highly optimistic and confident that your selfless, honest, humble and dedicated leadership will help restore the country’s former international image to its former glory,” the message said.
It called on President Mills to let the NDC’s message of real change materialize in the transformation of the country.
The message assured the president of the UCF’s continuous commitment, loyalty and protection of the social democratic principles enshrined in the NDC manifesto.
