Week 2 of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League delivered goals, strong performances, and clear early contenders in Group B. The matches were played on Friday, 20th February 2026, at the UG Sports Stadium.
Telecel Ghana opened the night with a hard-fought 1–0 win over Ghana Airports Company Limited. Telecel’s number 10 player Victor scored in the 10th minute, and Telecel held firm to secure all three points.
The standout performance of Group B came from Wilmar Africa, who thrashed BOST Energies 4–0. Wilmar’s number 10 Roland Tetteh starred with two (2) goals, while Jacob Tescko and Desmond Googo wearing jersey numbers eleven (11) and nine (9) also scored a goal each to complete wilmar’s dominant attacking display.
Union Ghana recorded a comfortable 2–0 victory over Forestry Commission, with goals from their star player wearing the number twenty (22) jersey Emmanuel Arthur and the number nine (9) player Kofi Bonya sealing a composed performance.
There was another commanding win for National Petroleum Authority, who beat National Communications Authority 3–0. Isaac Boateng wearing jersey number seventeen (17) and Ibrahim Adams wearing jersey number five (5) secured a goal each, alongside an own goal, to cap a confident display.
The last match of the night and the only game without goals saw Lebanese Sports Community Ghana and Zenith Bank Ghana battle to a tight stalemate, with both sides unable to break the deadlock.
With Wilmar’s attacking masterclass stealing the spotlight and several teams building early momentum, Group B is already heating up and the race to be on the top of the group stage board is well and truly on.
