According to Yaw Mini, a UK based Ghanaian musician, the only way Ghana can excel and gain the needed recognition worldwide is when investors come to their aid.

The musician argues that Ghanaian entertainers are doing their best but it will take a lot of investment to get the industry vibrant.

He told JoyNews’ Becky on the EWITHBECKS show in London

“I think what we need in the industry is to study more because I feel like we're doing good music but our music is not going anywhere. Because if we compare ourselves to our Nigerian brothers and sisters, they are everywhere now”

Yaw Mini who is also a law student in the UK believes the industry can gain international recognition if more people decide to invest in the sector

“Ghana is not having a lot of investors, nobody is willing to invest in music, I feel like the politicians don’t have plans for us. I think we need to invest more in music”

Born Eric Agyekum Emanuel, Yaw Mini is hoping to invest his talent in the entertainment industry in Ghana.
