The External Affairs Officer of the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) SRC, Alex Kobina Stonne, has led a high-level delegation to St. Philip Enterprise in Accra Central as part of efforts to secure strategic partnerships for students.
The delegation, made up of members from the Sponsorship & Partnerships Committee and the Strategic Development Committee of the External Affairs Office, engaged management of the company in discussions focused on upcoming student-centred initiatives and possible areas of collaboration.
The visit forms part of the External Affairs Office’s broader agenda to strengthen UniMAC’s corporate engagement and create sustainable opportunities for students.
Speaking in an interview after the meeting, Mr. Stonne stated: “We are not just paying courtesy calls. We are building long-term institutional relationships that will create real opportunities for UniMAC students.
“Our focus is to move beyond promises and ensure that every partnership we establish translates into measurable impact for the student body.”
He added that the External Affairs Office is committed to positioning UniMAC strategically within Ghana’s corporate space.
During the meeting, both parties explored potential collaboration models aimed at supporting student development initiatives and expanding corporate involvement in university activities.
As a highlight of the visit, the delegation presented a framed portrait to the Chief Executive of Saint Philip Enterprise, Mr. Philip Danguah, in honour of his birthday celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with optimism expressed about formalising future collaboration between UniMAC SRC and the enterprise.
The External Affairs Office has in recent weeks intensified corporate engagements as part of its commitment to extending UniMAC’s presence beyond campus boundaries.
