Unique Trust Financial Services Limited (UTFSL) has donated a stand-by generator, valued at 18,000 dollars, to the Tema General Hospital (TGH).
The facility is to assist the hospital to cope with power outages.
Mr Joseph Nsonamoah, Chairman of UTFSL Board who presented the generator, said Unique Trust believed that power was one of the biggest challenges facing the hospital, especially at this time of the nation's energy crisis.
Mrs Patience Ami Mamattah, Health Services Administrator, received the facility on behalf of the hospital, and thanked the donor.
Earlier in the day staff of Unique Trust undertook a 15-kilometre health walk through some of the principal streets in the municipality.Source: GNA
