The new executive which will run the affairs of the Union in the Region for the next four years has Mr Bronu Mwin-kaara as First Vice-chairperson, Miss Rabiatu Musah, Second Vice-chairperson, while Miss Leticia Bazaawale and Mr Osman Pelpuo were elected First and Second Trustees respectively.
The election was one of the highlights of the Regional Quadrennial Delegates Conference of the Union held at Wa on Tuesday.
Mr Abraham Okine, General Secretary of the Union urged the new executive to work hard to justify the trust and confidence reposed in them by building on the foundations, which their predecessors had laid.
He thanked all past activists and leaders for the noble role they had played in strengthening the Union in the Region.
"By their efforts, commitment, hard work and determination, the Union has reached where it is today and we have to pledge ourselves to continue the development process from where they left off", he stated.
