The Tarkwa Branch of Unique Trust Bank has rehabilitated the Ear, Nose and Throat units of the Tarkwa Government Hospital at a cost of 3,500 Ghana cedis.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony at Tarkwa on Wednesday, Mr. Gilbert Adamtey, branch manager of the bank, said the decision to rehabilitate the units was due to the deplorable state in which the unit was.
Mr. Adamtey said the bank tiled the floors, painted the building and provided railings on the staircase.
"UT Bank decided to offer something back to society and it decided to give to the health sector for the benefit of all who patronise it".
Dr Victor Pentsil, who is in charge of the Dental Clinic, thanked the UT Bank for assisting the hospital to improve its infrastructure.Source: GNA
