Finacle Core Banking Support Specialists
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain the Core Banking System to ensure minimal downtime and effective troubleshooting of core banking-related issues.
Manage and maintain the Finacle Core Banking System to ensure minimal downtime and effective troubleshooting of core banking-related issues.
Provide end-to-end support for core banking users by addressing functional and technical issues and enhancing user experience.
Oversee customisations and configurations in Finacle to meet banking requirements and align with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, Quality Assurance and support, to ensure seamless integration with other systems and successful deployment of banking products.
Apply patches and hotfixes to the Finacle system as provided by the vendor, ensuring system security and functionality.
Administer, manage and support Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) databases to ensure high availability, scalability performance.
Implement and manage database backup, restore and recovery procedures in compliance with disaster recovery plans.
Analyze and optimise database performance by monitoring resources, tuning SQL queries and configuring system parameters to meet high transaction volume. •Perform patching and version upgrades for Oracle RAC databases, ensuring compatibility with Finacle Core Banking applications.
Implement database security protocols, encryption and access controls, ensuring compliance with industry and organizational security policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle Database Administration with at least 2 years in Oracle RAC environment along with proven experience in Finacle
Core Banking support.
Proficiency in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN and Oracle Enterprise Manager. •Hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking System, including customization, troubleshooting and support.
Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL scripting and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of database backup and recovery processes.
