The Ministry of Youth and Sports has signed an agreement with Spanish football giants Valencia to put up a Sports University to help in shaping Ghana sports with equipment.
Early this year the sports ministry announced that its biggest objective is to make available sports facilities right from the grass-root level to the top for all sports disciplines in the whole country.
Meanwhile the agreed partnership with the Sports Ministry to build the standard Sports Stadium and Sports University for the ministry to meets its target.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Joseph Yamin who signed the agreement on behave of the government of Ghana exclusively revealed this to Asempa Sports that this University project will go a long way to improve the standard of Sports in the country and also assured the project will take off soon.
“Valencia football club has agreed to build a Sports University, a standard Sports Stadium and Sports complexes to help shape the sports industry.
“We’ve decided to embark on this project because it is our vision to build sports complexes in every district for the development of the sports in this country.”He added.
The ministry is expected to meet on early next week to announce the start of the project.
