Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has said he has no regret after nearly exchanging blows with his colleague Shatta Wale at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
According to him, both of them had no intentions of letting their rivalry get in the way of the celebrations on the night.
“It was not pre meditated, if it was then right when you step into the venue there would have been chaos…So, 2019 has been a lot of lessons and grooming for my journey” he told Da Don on U Say Wetin on Hitz FM.
Stonebwoy said that he could only regret what happened at the VGMA if he repeats the same mistakes again.
"If I did make any moves that taught me lessons then that is good," he added.
The ‘Nominate’ hitmaker said the ordeal at the awards night has only strengthened him and opened him up to be the best of himself.
After getting into a brawl at the 2019 VGMAs, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were stripped of all the awards they won on the night
They were also banned indefinitely by the organisers, Charterhouse.
To follow through with their words, the VGMA board did not nominate the artistes for the 2020 event.
