CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah, has stated that artiste manager Bullet did a good job with late dancehall musician, Ebony Reigns.

Richie was reacting to the recent squabble between Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of the late ‘90’s Bad Girl’ and her manager Bullet.

The past few days have seen the two make series of allegations against each other with respect to monies accrued from record sales, and money's allegedly disbursed to artistes for their performances at a tribute concert organized for the singer.

A document released by the late Ebony's father showed names of artistes written in ink and the amount they were allegedly paid for performing at the tribute concert.

The document stated the following:

Edem – ₵3,000

Keche – ₵3,000

Captain Planet – ₵2,000

Coded – ₵1,000

R2bees – ₵3,000

Ras Kuku – ₵1,000

Raquel – ₵1,000

Kurl Songs – ₵1,000

Episode – ₵7,00

MCs:

DKB  – ₵1,000

Ogee (late Ebony’s hypeman) – ₵500

DJs:

DJ Shiwawa – ₵500

These developments have generated a social media discussion and while some music fans believe that Bullet has not been fair with his dealings and accountability to the late singer's family, others also believe that father of the late singer might just be greedy.

But sharing his thoughts with Hitz FM’s Noella Kharyne Yalley, Richie who manages musicians Kidi, Kuami Eugene and MzVee said;

“Bullet has done an amazing job. From Ebony to Brella, to Danny Beatz and what he’s doing with Wendy Shay, he’s done an amazing job as a manager. One thing we have to understand is, married couples divorce, best friends split up, so I don’t know why when artistes and managers break up, the whole world wants to act like it’s the biggest news in the world," he said.

Richie asked: “Can you imagine a new story about every break-up? That will be a lot of news. So if you see an artiste and a manager break up, it means they couldn’t see eye-to-eye anymore and they went their separate ways. It’s as simple as that.”
