Hilife musician George Adu, known in showbiz circles as Kwabena Kwabena, says despite all his attempts to stay away from trouble, it always finds him.
He said although some of the 'troubles' are hard to bear, and mostly untrue, they do not weigh him down.
The singer over the years has been vilified, chastised and maligned over his marital ‘brouhaha’ with his first and second wives.
The embattled musician at the launch of his ‘Ahyesi’ album shared with JoyNews’ MzGee how he pulled through the negativities that affect his brand.
“The joy of the Lord is my strength. I try very hard not be in trouble but trouble finds me anyway, but what will I say? I am human, so I can only focus...,” he said.
The 'Bue kwan ma me' singer, said he will not be deterred by the bad press.
“I love the gift God gave me. I appreciate everything God has done for me so I do whatever I can to protect it including my talent...that is how I go, nothing bothers me,” he said.
