A newlywed couple en route to their honeymoon took a detour to cast their ballots in the National Democratic Congress’ Parliamentary primaries, Saturday. The couple, Eric Tettevi and Francisca Tetteh joined the queue at the Ketu South constituency immediately after saying their vows. The groom dressed in a blue and white traditional outfit and bride in her gown, turned heads of other voters when they arrived at the venue. According to the couple, the NDC is a happy family and they could not wait to share their special day with the rest of the NDC family; hence coming to vote for their preferred candidate. Watch video below:  The country's largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), is voting to select those who will represent its constituencies in the 2020 election.  Some 524 aspirants are gunning to become parliamentary candidates of the NDC across 157 constituencies. Five constituencies have been put on hold pending the outcome of some hitches; also, the elections are not taking place in constituencies where the sitting MP is unopposed, General Secretary of the party Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said at a press beefing.
