Two policemen say they have been complaining about the physical integrity of the traffic light at Barn Yard on the Lapaz-Mallam Interchange.
The rains on Monday vindicated their concerns as strong winds uprooted the metallic traffic light from the ground.

Myjoyonline.com's Edwin Appiah spotted the two officers doing their best to bury the root of the traffic light back into the ground last Tuesday morning.

They used stones and concrete slabs to stablise the pole. Checks in the past 24 hours show the traffic light is stable. But another rain, another wind is all that is needed to set the police officers' attempt to fix the light on replay.
