An officer with the Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate of the police service has argued that provocative dressing from some females indirectly leads to the numerous accidents on the roads.
Chief Superintendent Joseph Owusu Bempah said some male drivers who see these skimpily-dressed ladies tend to focus on them rather than on the road, leading to accidents.
“Some of them too they just walk on the streets, perambulating. Just walking to one end and back…” he bemoaned.
The officer used the Joy News platform to appeal to ladies to dress appropriately while walking on the streets to reduce these attention-diverting accidents.
“If you’re in your car fine,” he noted.
