Up and coming artiste, Seyram, is completely owning Shatta Wale’s new single ‘Melissa’.
The Afro-Pop artiste, who hails from the Volta Region, took the liberty of bringing the song closer to his people by translating the lyrics of ‘Melissa’ to his mother tongue, Ewe.
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, in this mid-tempo song, sang in English and Ga.
However, in Seyram’s version, everything was translated to Ewe and complemented with a good voice.
Seyram is an artiste who delves more into Afro Pop, traditional melodies and Reggae. He began compositing music at the age of twelve with his first composition from the bible verse, Psalm 18:1-2.
