Actress cum producer Kafui Danku has revealed tragedy befell her after the birth of her baby girl, Lorde.

Kafui has imprinted her traumatic journey to motherhood in a twofold book title ‘Silence is Not Golden’ and ‘Silence is Golden’.

She explained to Joy News' MzGee why her maiden book had two features, saying the other part which she titled ‘Silence is Golden’ highlights a calamity she kept to herself even after childbirth.

“It’s two in one. Silence is not golden, I spoke out and then silence became golden. Something terrible happened after my baby was born. Nobody even knows it.

"I am even afraid that now my mother can read the book and start questioning me or my husband will read the book and say hey why didn’t you say this?”

Although the Chief Executive Officer, ABC pictures refused to disclose the said tragedy but insisted the details were worth reading.

“Silence is not golden, I said predominantly is about my journey to motherhood but silence is golden, I want people to find out. Once you get the book you will find both stories,” she said.

‘Silence is Not Golden’ will be available for sale in some major shops nationwide.

“I feel good. The time is right for the full story to be told so the full story is out there so I feel fulfilled,” a delighted Kafui said at the official launch.

The launch was a star-studded one as it had Christine Churchill, Gifty Anti, Joy FM’s Lexis Bill, actress Nana Ama Mc Brown, Jackie Appiah, Kafui Dey, Inna Maria Patty and the 2017 Miss Ghana winners were all gracing the event.
