Vodafone Ghana, the most valuable brand in the world, will on 16 and 17 May 2012, take over the Yahoo mail login page. This is the first time that any company in Ghana is taking over the Yahoo login page.The initiative which is part of the company’s data campaign dubbed ‘Limitless Possibilities’, is aimed at educating Ghanaians on the positive impact the internet can have on their lives, giving them access to the devices that are innovative and affordable and giving them unbeatable value on internet bundles, a release issued by Vodafone Ghana has said.Anyone from Ghana who visits the Yahoo mail login page (mail.yahoo.com) on the 16 and 17 May 2012 will see the site branded with information on Vodafone Ghana’s ‘Limitless Possibilities’.Carmen Bruce-Annan, Head of Corporate Communications at Vodafone Ghana, remarked: “We are proud to be the first company to do this in Ghana; we are really serious about providing limitless possibilities to our subscribers on our network. With this initiative, we are demonstrating that we are the leader in the data space in the telecommunications market”.“Vodafone Ghana has positioned itself to dominate the data space by deploying data packages and services that are tailored to the data needs and usage of our customers,” she added.Vodafone Ghana is known for leading in innovative devices such as web box, Mi-Fi, hi-speed dongles, tabs, Wi-Fi zones, and Vodafone cafés, among others.The telecommunications giant has also introduced a number of unbeatable value bundles including the unique ‘Welcome Pack’ which gives new Vodafone internet users double bonus on their bundles.
