Vulco Automobile Tyre Centre, operated in Ghana by Rana Motors, has officially reopened its Vulco 37 Service Centre located at the TotalEnergies Service Station – Liberation Road, Accra, after undergoing extensive upgrades aimed at enhancing customer comfort, service efficiency, and overall experience.

The upgraded Vulco 37 centre now features a revamped service bay, a new-look customer reception area, and refreshed branding aligned with Vulco’s long-standing pillars of Safety, Performance, and Convenience.

The reopening event was held on 24th November 2025.  In attendance at the brief ceremony were the Chief Operating Officer of Rana Motors, Mr Kassem Odaymat, the General Manager of the Rana Motors Tyres Division, Mr Vinay Kapoor, and the Sales Representative for Goodyear in West Africa, Mr Siddhant Nair.

Other key stakeholders present included some customers, Vulco Tyre Safety Ambassadors and staff of Rana Motors.

Speaking at the event, the General Manager of Rana Motors - Tyres Division, Mr Vinay Kapoor, noted that: The new Vulco 37 represents our promise to consistently invest in better infrastructure, better service, and better experiences for our customers. This upgrade is more than a facelift. It is a step forward in ensuring that every visit to Vulco reflects the quality and professionalism we stand for.”

The Sales Representative for Goodyear West Africa, Mr Siddhant Nair, noted that Goodyear’s century-long legacy is built on innovation, reliability, and trust — values further strengthened by partners like Rana Motors, who share the same unwavering commitment to quality.

For his part, Mr EK Sunish, Director of Sales and Services at Rana Motors (Tyres Division), said the appearance of Vulco 37 signified a renewed promise to customers.

The reopening also highlighted Vulco’s ongoing commitment to community safety through the Women’s Tyre Safety Campaign, an initiative geared towards empowering women with practical tyre care and road safety knowledge. These ambassadors were recognised for their roles.

One of the ambassadors of the campaign, Sheila Emefa Kwami, commended Vulco for its Women’s Safety Initiative, saying that acquiring such skills is crucial for women drivers, as it equips them to handle unexpected situations independently. An opportunity that foster awareness, confidence, and self-reliance among women motorists.

Some customers expressed excitement about the new look of the Vulco outlet, feel of the service centre, and for prioritising both safety and the customer experience.
