The Wa East Constituency Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have threatened to resign en bloc from the Party following the decision of the National Executives to postpone local parliamentary primaries.
They described the action of the National Executives as "disrespect" for the constituency executives because they were not consulted before the action was taken.
A statement issued in Wa and signed by 15 constituency executives including the Chairman and the Secretary, accused the National Executives of "disregarding the laid down party structures".
The Executives called on the National Executive Committee to act fast to rectify the matter or face the wrath of the constituency executives who would resign en bloc and also work towards the downfall of the Party come 2012 elections.
