Editor-in-Chief of the Crusading Guide news paper says the recurrence of examination leakage is  a testament of how the minds, bodies and systems in the country have been corrupted over the years.

Malik Kweku Baako Jnr insists the trend can only "kill the future of the children."

He was commenting on the recent examination leakage and or fore-knowledge which has hit country this year.

Examination authorities confirmed the integrity of some of the subjects written in the ongoing WASSCE exams has been compromised.

Head of WAEC, Rev Dr Sam Nmai Ollenu told Joy News' Kwetey Nartey the comprimsed papers were not leaked but some students had fore-knowledge of the papers.

Explaining the difference between a leaked paper and fore-knowledge, the WAEC head said there are leakages when papers come out at least 24 hours before a scheduled exam.

There is fore-knowledge however, when the papers come out only hours to the exam.

He insisted what happened with some of the papers can only be fore-knowledge and that those papers will not be cancelled.

His explanations did not sit well with a cross section of Ghanaians who believe the effect of a leaked paper and fore-knowledge is the same.

Speaking on Joy FM's news analysis programme Newsfile, Kweku Baako Jnr said the systemic failure has gone on for far too long.

He blamed the situation on racketeers who are exploiting the situation to make money and the growing anxiety of parents to have their children pass at all cost.

"We better take a critical look at the systems from the time questions are set; printed and transmitted," he said.

The Environment Science and Technology Minister Mahama Ayariga questioned the honesty and integrity of the personnel involved in transmitting the exams.

"The leakages happen at the transmission level," he said, adding with the emergence of technology and social media the leakage has become even more effective.

He said the president has ordered the BNI to get involved and investigate the circumstances under which the papers are leaked.

He feared the certificates produced from examination littered with fraud will have little or no integrity.
