Black Satellites Head Coach, Desmond Ofei, has revealed how ace gaffer Abdul Karim Zito has helped him during the WAFU Championship.
Ghana face rivals Nigeria in the final of the WAFU U-20 Championship, after booking qualification to next year’s U-20 AFCON.
Ofei, after Ghana’s semifinal win over Côte d’Ivoire, opened up about the support he has received from the former Black Satellites boss, Zito, throughout the tournament.
“I had a call from Coach Zito before the game and he has been backing us.
“He my godfather and I’m grateful for his support.
“The nation needs this victory and we’re working hard to make sure we deliver,” he said.
Karim Zito was in charge of the Black Satellites team that won the 2021 U-20 AFCON.
