Aduana F.C. coach Cioabă Aristica has admitted that his side has a goal-scoring problem after successive matches without finding the back of the net.
The two-time league champions have failed to score in consecutive matches and have been dislodged from the top spot of the Ghana Premier League as a result.
Sunday’s home draw with Holy Stars was preceded by a 1-0 loss away to defending champions, Gold Stars.
‘‘Yes, it is a problem for the team. You know from the last game against Gold Stars, we had the same issue of missing opportunities that looked very easy to score.’’
‘‘In the last match against Holy Stars, it was the same situation. For 45 minutes, we pressed the opponents and had clear, clear goal-scoring opportunities. Really incredible six chances, and if the players are not able to score, then it is a problem for us,’’ Cioabă Aristica after their latest stalemate.

Aduana have scored in only two of their last five matches and have slipped into second place in the league table, two points behind Medeama S.C.
They have scored 13 goals from 13 matches, averaging just a goal per game. Of that number, Emmanuel Marfo, the club’s leading scorer, has produced 6 of them.
Aristica’s men will travel to third-placed Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, before hosting Hearts of Oak next.
