A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team, Victor Kojogah Adawudu claims their case becomes stronger each day their lead counsel cross–examines the star witness of the petitioners, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in court.He said Tsatsu Tsikata has torn into shreds the pink sheets presented in court as hard core evidence by the petitioners to prove their claims of massive irregularities in the 2012 presidential elections.The ongoing Presidential Election Petition hearing at the Supreme Court entered day 13 on Wednesday.Mr. Tsikata throughout his six days of cross-examination has sought to discredit the witness as well as the evidence tendered in court.He argued that most of the pink sheets tendered in court as evidence have been duplicated to deceive the court and that the allegations of over voting and no signature are just administrative errors.Mr. Tsikata also brought a pink sheet outside what has been tendered in court to prove that there were similar 'irregularities' in the strongholds of the first petitioner.But Dr. Bawumia categorically disagreed with Tsatsu noting that the evidence before the court is cogent to ensure justice is served.On Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, Victor Adawudu said they have been able to achieve their aim by punching holes into the so-called concrete evidence of the petitioners.He said for Dr. Bawumia to repeatedly admit before the court that there were multiple errors in the pink sheets tendered in evidence strengthen their case.Victor Adawudu found it very intriguing why the petitioners only picked polling stations where President Mahama won when in fact similar alleged irregularities occurred in their strongholds.He was of the opinion that the entire 2012 general election results were marred with errors as a result of the ‘ignorance’ of some staff of the Electoral Commission.Lawyer Adawudu said the NDC will prove to the Justices that massive irregularities occurred at polling stations won by Akufo-Addo but for political expediency they [petitioners] hid it from Ghanaians.
